RSM McGladrey is ranked as the second largest tax and accounting firm in Maricopa County (just slightly behind first-ranked Deloitte) and employs a staff of more than 200. The local offices of RSM McGladrey and McGladrey & Pullen will come together in a single Phoenix location in December, 2006.
The Phoenix office of RSM McGladrey is the result of the mergers and acquisitions of several well-established and highly experienced local accounting firms. Our presence in Arizona extends back to the early 1960s with the firm Schulman Klock & Co. The Phoenix firm merged with McGladrey, Hendrickson & Pullen in 1987, which then became McGladrey & Pullen. RSM McGladrey acquired the Toback CPA and Toback Technologies firms in January 2000. RSM McGladrey then acquired American Express Tax & Business Services in 2005 and Gaughan & Nahom in 2006.
